Eleanora’s POV
The red flare hadn’t stopped burning.
Even now, hours later, it hovered above the eastern cliffs like a bleeding wound in the sky. The dancing, the laughter, the soft whispers of joy from the wedding… all had evaporated.
Gannon stood beside me, eyes locked on the glow like it was a ghost.
“We need to move,” he muttered.
“We will. But smart,” I said, tightening my cloak. “This isn’t just a rogue warning. This was timed.”
“Timed for our wedding.”
