“Are you seriously dodging your own paperwork again?” Blair’s voice slices through the hallway like the stiletto heels she never abandons.
Reo freezes, halfway to the kitchen. There's a glass of water in his hand and his phone is between his shoulder and cheek. He sighs and clicks the phone off, sliding it into his pocket. “Evening to you too, sunshine.”
She steps out from the shadows beside the vintage wall sconce with her tablet hugged against her chest like a weapon. Her nails are a polished plum shade. “You haven’t signed the annex on the Seigel integration. Or responded to Leo’s memo about the Singapore proposal.”
