He doesn’t say it to anyone. Just says it aloud while loosening his tie, letting it drop onto the desk like it’s been strangling him since birth. The morning sun cuts through the tall glass windows, brushing light onto the edge of a stack of contracts he hasn’t touched since yesterday.
