“Let’s shake the bones of this damn company before someone else does.”

That’s the first thing I say when I walk into the boardroom. No good morning. No preamble. No fake smiles. Just the truth.

They all look up from their notes and lattes. Dozens of stiff collars and glossy-lipped advisors blink at me, and the tension’s already buzzing under the AC vents.

I slap a file onto the table and keep my voice flat. “Effective next quarter, we’re merging Cuss Youth Foundation with CussCares Global. It’s redundant, and the structure’s been bleeding funds since fiscal year-end. We consolidate, and we salvage. We get back in control.”
