Blair’s voice breaks the silence like a stone in a still pond. She’s standing by the garden table with a coffee cup in hand. Her heels are somehow not sinking into the grass. Her blazer today is a slate grey, sharp against the blooms behind her. Her gaze is unreadable, but it’s not cold. Not today.
