Reo stands still by the open glass door of the terrace, watching her tie her shoes like it’s some kind of ritual he’s never been allowed to witness. Jennie doesn’t look up, but he sees her. All of her. The way her hands move like she’s already halfway out the door. The way her ponytail swings when she grabs her purse. The way she doesn’t ask for permission, and doesn’t owe him an explanation. She just... moves.
