ANNABELLA'S POV

This morning I tried Roman's number countless times but his phone was off so I called his gamma who picked up at last and told me Roman was busy at the moment. I wanted to ask where he was but he cut me by saying Roman would be the best person to tell me everything.

I jumped and hoped everything was fine though.

Madeline didn't seem to know anything either because I heard her talking to someone on the phone and it was like whoever it was was asking after Roman.

I could not help wondering what might be going on, was the pack in trouble?
