“ Is that a yes?” I shook off his hand, which was holding mine, and immediately got rid of my hallucinations.

Thank the goddess, it wasn't real, even though I wished I could make it real and shut him up for good.

My eyes scanned around the huge hall, and most of the guests were dancing to the slow music playing in the background while others were standing in groups, chatting and laughing.

Sophia was still talking with some guest and I wondered what would have happened if I had slapped him. Well, they would obviously not take it well; I blushed the stupid thoughts away.
