ANNABELLA'S POV

Three days in the demon territory wasn't enough to make me feel comfortable. Trusting them was out of the picture because I knew I was only alive because Roman brought me here; I could tell how Sage, the demon lord, valued his words to Roman.

I still found it hard to breathe around them, so I preferred staying inside; I had never been this confused in my life, but I guess I had to live with it since no one was saying anything.

At least I had the right to know what was going on, but who was I going to ask when my mate didn't deem it...
