Kaido drove back to the villa, where everyone was waiting for him. Reyes, Christine, and Jeanette stood up as he parked the truck outside. They looked at him, and their eyes widened in shock. Kaido was covered in blood, his clothes stained with Duncan's blood.

But Jeanette didn't seem to mind the blood. She ran to Kaido and hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry for everything you passed through," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "I'm so sorry for the pain Duncan made you go through. I'm very sorry."
