Veronica’s POV

Getting to Darwin's company, a wave of breeze blew through my face while I winked involuntarily.  Walking majestically, I was headed for Darwin's company. By the time I stepped in, I went directly to his office.

Darwin raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Miss Veronica, you are quite fast. "I thought you informed me that you were going to come in late.” He spoke with a mild surprise in his voice. 

“I will be here till 9:50 AM. I have meetings throughout the day,” I explained to him.
