Veronica's POV 

Just when Martins' call came through, my secretary stepped into the meeting room.

She placed the contract right before me while I spoke with Martin on the phone.

“I am coming to see you this evening. "Will you be available?” His voice glinted cold as those words trailed down his lips.

“Very well, Mr Martins. I will be happy to receive you,” I said with a feigned excitement.

“Okay, then,” he ended the call.

My secretary sat beside me until after I ended the call. “That's the contract on your table. ""Please, go through it,” She said, gazing at my face.
