A quick call to Veronica last night had informed me that she would be sleeping over at Alyssa’s place. It was late, and so we didn’t have enough time to talk much but she seemed happy and mostly talked about how nice Alyssa was to her.

It made me tremendously happy that she found someone like Alyssa. She didn’t seem to have any friends at all. Chloe had been the closest to that but she had messed things up pretty badly.

But if Alyssa was half as nice as Veronica said, then she wouldn’t be so alone anymore.
