I grunted inaudibly with displeasure. Bella was the candidate I had in mind. But with the look on Bella's face when I asked her to deal with the CV issues, she didn't seem cooperative. I can't depend on her.

“Okay. "Let her meet HR with her credentials. "I will have a look at it,” I said.

Martins seemed excited by what I said, as if she had gotten the job. “Thank you so much. "I knew I could count on you,” he said.

But then… “I will only employ her if she qualifies,” I emphasized.

“I trust her. She certainly will.” After that, he ended the call.
