Alyssa’s POV

The second day after Veronica’s disappearance was about to end, and there was still no information or clues on her whereabouts.

Darwin and Jed didn’t have anything yet, Pedro either had not been able to come up with anything. I must have called Veronica’s number about two hundred times already but nothing was different.

I picked up my phone to call again when it rang.

“Yes, Darwin. Anything come up yet?” I asked. That was the opening of our conversations ever since.

“Yes, I think so. Jed just called, he thinks he’s found Veronica’s car.” Darwin said.

“What? Where? Look hold on, let’s meet at yours and together...
