Veronica’s POV 

My heart was in suspense. I had to stop right behind his car because he was blocking the entrance to my compound.

“Stay inside the car. I will be right back.” I glanced at his face when I said those words to Shane.

“Okay.” He snapped aloud. As if he doesn't care about what happens.

This uncultured behavior by Shane was starting to get on my nerves, and I was getting irritated. 

I overlooked it and stepped down from my car, shutting the door.

Darwin stepped out of his car and I walked up to him.
