Veronica's POV 

Getting back to the office, I flashed back to the moment I met my ex. 

“Miss Veronica, hope you are good?” Darwin asked, looking at my face with a light frown.

I nodded my head with a large exhale. “I am good.” My voice was dragging while I walked to sit on my chair. 

Darwin's eyes fixed on me until I sat down on the chair. He wasn't pleased with the reply I gave him. He moved his chair backwards, and he stood on his feet.
