I fell back into the nearest seat as soon as Veronica left. I knew I was supposed to go after her, try to sort things out and well apologize, but I was so overcome with shame that I wanted to do nothing but just mull over the last hour.

All of those horrible things I had said to her, Hell I had even accused her of wanting the project for herself, and how this whole missing document thing was just some big scheme of hers.

Just sitting here would do nothing, she had been crying when she left.
