“Mallory, what about you?” Jocelyn asked, sitting up high.

Mallory kissed her hand. “Don’t worry about me. I’ll meet you at the hospital.”

Jocelyn smiled. “See you then.”

Mallory closed the door and headed around to Caden, who had set Jocelyn’s suitcase in the bed of the truck. “Drive carefully.”

Caden nodded, smiling. “I will.”
