There was this long drawn-out silence between the two of us before he finally spoke again and when he did he stood up and held me close to himself as if we were close friends that hadn't seen each other for a long time.

Honestly, it felt very awkward to be sharing this kind of intimate afternoon with a man that I found quite jovial and friendly but still practically a stranger to myself and so I peeled him away from my skin.
