Belle's POV

Beep. Beep. Beep.

My eyes fluttered open but I immediately shut them as I was hit by the harsh sterile light that bathed the room in which I laid in. The familiar beeping of the heart rate monitor and the soft hiss of the IV drip announced where I was before anyone could.

I was mostly on the other side of the coin when it came to this ambience. I tried to push myself forward, hoping that sitting up will help quicken my consciousness. But as I made a slight move, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, and instinctively, my hand went down to the source....
