The day of the dinner finally arrived, and I felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness that had been building up since morning.

Zeke had kept to his word and made sure that everything was sorted out. My kids were already in school and from school, they would be taken to Zeke's penthouse by himself, where they would go and meet Nanny Dona.

I smiled remembering how excited they looked when I told them they would sleepover at Zeke's penthouse. Their excitement had reduced when I added we might not make it home on time to meet them before they go to bed.
