Nemesis?

The single word does not make sense to me. Not immediately. Not when the rest of his words are sending heat coursing through my body. Every nerve in my body comes alive with a dangerous longing to let him do exactly what he's threatening. His warmth surrounds me as iridescent eyes hold me spellbound.
