The date finally ends with me managing to keep my focus on the girlfriend.

Nelson is bringing her car around as we come out of the restaurant. He stops in front of us and is about to come round to open her door, but I signal for him not to worry.

Reaching for the door, I drop a light peck on Madison’s cheek and murmur,

“Goodnight.”
