“What do you mean one of our own?” Gavin asks with a deep frown.

“He's a shifter like you and I," Curtis replies. "He's hiding among us. The creature can take human or… demon-wolf form. Like… a werewolf that turns demon when no one's watching.” The Gamma holds two fingers up like a child as he adds, “Two beasts in one body. Something like that.”

“That makes no sense!” Ty snaps.

“I saw him with my own eyes before I blacked out.”

“Did you see his wolf? Or his face?”

“No, but I know what I saw, guys. I fought the creature. There’s a wolf in him....
