At the mention of Mary, I remember that today is not only a workday. It's my last day in the office.

"I... sorry. I fell asleep," I replied.

"It's alright," he replies softly.

"Justin has informed her that you're indisposed. You can take the day off and rest, but you have to reach out to her first. Seems she wants to clarify something regarding the Sandford contract."

"Sure, I'll call her right away."

"Your dad..." he says.

Fate! He's being detained. I've completely forgotten about that, too. I do need the rest.

"Has he been released?" I ask.

"No. The lab results came in. The herbs found...
