I slipped out of asher's presence and returned to the castle without anyone noticing that I was there. After I had made it up to the second level and into my room, I immediately went to the shower to wash up and lock the door behind me.

Because I was so anxious and frightened, I had a hard time falling or maintaining my sleep while I was in the castle. However, after a nice long soak in the tub, I was able to fall asleep at last.
