FIVE YEARS LATER
The day wasn’t great.
We had lost a prospective client who I had assumed was a guarantee. I had already planned in my head the actions I would take with the status and money this client would have provided us. After it went down, I remained gazing at a list of development proposals I had no way of implementing now. The next day I called John, who I made my partner.
“We have to talk about this. We just can’t lose this client. If we can’t make this work, we’re out.” I said nervously circling the office.
“Ok, but do we have some kind of plan?”...
