After dressing up, Serena went down searching for her mate. She knew he was in the castle because granny Felicia kept mentioning him during their conversation. She had thanked granny Felicia for the gift she gave to her and thanked her for staying and taking care of her mate, the King, up until now. It isn't easy abandoning one's life for another.

Serena also hoped to speak with Beta Adam. She was unhappy that he kept such news from her. It seems to her that everyone knew he would leave sooner, even her mate, but no one told her about it....
