"Are you getting back with her?" Serena asked once the door was shut.

King Zed merely chuckled at the heaviness of her word. He could tell she forced them out of her mouth.

"Never. I'm sorry that I didn't explain things to you, but it's not what you think it is." As he said it, he made to cup her cheeks again.

Serena took another step back, seeing her mate standing and discussing with another wolf who looked like royalty hunted her.

It made her furious.

King Zed seeing the anger in her eyes, didn't reach out to her again...
