Late in the afternoon when I entered the house, Abbu was sitting in the living room and he seemed to be lost in deep thought. Getting near him, I spoke up, “What happened Abbu?”

Abbu got all startled may be hearing my voice suddenly. Then getting hold of himself, abbu spoke up, “Khushi isn’t in the house.”

Likewise, I uttered, “So what of it?”

Abbu spoke up impatiently, “So what of it! Kowshik, you are not understanding what might we need to face if Khushi tells them everything and they by any chance ended up believing her.”
