"I…brought you breakfast," Celia said in a voice so soft, it made Lillian shiver. Lillian stepped aside as Celia walked and placed the food on the nightstand. Celia stepped to the side and bowed her head to the floor.

"If there isn't anything else, I will take my leave," Celia said, walking past Lillian.

Lillian blocked the way with her arm. She moved Celia back into the room while closing her door.
