The guards led Xenia through the packhouse to what looked like the bottom floor. They picked up lanterns before opening a set of heavy-looking doors and ushered Xenia through. A small crowd of werewolves or maybe humans, Xenia couldn't tell, parted as she walked by. They held torches, lanterns, and other light fixtures to help light the way down the tunnel. On their foreheads was a symbol, more like a crescent moon mark. She wondered if this was part of the ritual.

They were calling out her name, well, more like calling her Luna. The faces in the crowd were filled with intrigue, as if she was royalty to them....
