Just as Cameron tried to push past the police to hand the evidence to the presiding judge, John suddenly began exerting pressure. No one knew exactly how powerful his connections were, but after whispering something to the spokesperson, that same spokesperson leaned in to speak with the judge.

About two or three minutes later, the judge’s gavel came down with a sharp thud, and his voice rang out.
