I woke up suddenly. My heart was coming faster like I was running, like I was forced inside the water.

“Are you alright?” a familiar voice asked.

I looked at Mercury as I tried to steady my heavy breathing.

I nodded once, and my gaze searched around me. “Where am I?”

“You fainted. So, the man that helped us last night brought us here,” she explained.

Headache set in, and I placed a hand over my head in an attempt to make it go away.

Then, realisation dawned on me.

I turned towards Mercury again. “What do you mean by last night? How long have I been here?”
