I sat at my desk, my eyes fixed on Erica as she stood before me. She had been caught, and now she would face the consequences of her actions.

"Erica, you're fired," I said, my voice cold and detached. "And not only that, but you're going to face justice for what you've done. You're going to pay for poisoning my daughter."

Erica's face twisted in a snarl, but she said nothing. She knew she was caught, and she knew she was beaten.

I nodded to my guards, and they stepped forward to take Erica away. But as they did, she suddenly broke free and made a run for it....
