"What's wrong with your heart? Your heart is wicked; the elevator wasn’t broken, but you said it was," Gwen complained to her husband. "I rode the elevator with Grandpa, and nothing happened. How many times have you lied to me?"

Dominic laughed at his wife's grumbling. The elevator button wasn’t actually broken; he just wanted to tease her. Annoyed, Gwen left her husband and decided to return to her room. Dominic followed her.
