It was an addicting habit. A weary transition from the road, my steering wheel and Corrie. My eyes grew heavy and I could feel the fatigue creeping in. I was exhausted, burnt out, you might say and unlike me, Corrie slept the entire road trip.
Although it made the entire trip easier but I always had to stare hard at her to make sure if she was even alive and breathing.
