The doctor slid a cup across the table but I ignored him. He was worried, I could guess. My eyes felt heavy and I couldn't even enjoy the possibility of sleeping. And him giving me a cup drugged with sleeping pills made me irritated a bit. Not when Corrie could barely open her eyes, not when she wasn't awake. I can't remember how long it's been. The moment I lodge her into the hospital I've fervently been by her side. And these days come to think of it, I spent more time in the hospital than I would normally at work.
