Loyalty. There's something twisted about it. Devoting your time to a particular thing or person, hoping they'll return the same miserable gesture.

My mother unmistakingly was loyal to who ever could feed her ego, and in the end left us as orphans after my step father killed her. I never liked that woman, not only because she forsake us for just a mere man but how loyal she stayed to one particular person or thing that never served her.

So I always abide by a saying I learnt after her passing. I'm loyal to no other person than my self or in other words who ever was offering more....
