"It felt good when I shot Kent," I murmured. "That's bad."
"You knew you weren't going to kill him," Eli shrugged.
"But when I do kill people I don't feel bad," I said and sighed in frustration. "It's like killing is ingrained in me."
"I don't feel bad," Eli said. "Some people do and some people don't. We kill killers, rapists, drug dealers, we shouldn't feel bad about killing them."
