POV: Nathan

She was so fucking amazing when she spoke with the board of directors. Those guys are pretty stubborn and tough, and I’m surprised she stood confidently before them and gave a beautiful speech. She convinced everyone that she was worth a shot, impressing everyone with her speech, leaving us all stunned and totally impressed. I couldn’t help smiling at her self confidence, it was quite a surprise and I would have loved to celebrate that little victory with her, but she pushed me away, again. 

She is so damn stubborn when she wants to be tough. I just had to leave her to get settled in, I’m sure...
