I stormed out of the living room and followed the bond pull to the throne room where I expect to see Ryker.

He was there, sitting leisurely on his throne.

"So is it really out of habit or was it a slip?"

"Out of habit." I said quickly, "I've been with them since they were little."

"And that's how many years ago?" He questioned.

"Nine years," I said effortlessly.

"Hmmmm.."

"Why are they here?" I asked, walking to the center of the throne room, "Why did you bring them here?!"
