“Promise you won’t laugh?” He asks.
“I promise.” She assures him.
He swallows thickly. “Alright. Well, I… I wanted to ask you this morning…” He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes for a brief moment, preparing himself for whatever he’s about to say next. Then he continues.
