"Why didn't you say anything before?" Serena finally managed to ask.

"Would you have believed me if I said it?"

"Well, yes." said Serena with a frown. "Of course I would."

Prince Julian chuckled lightly and patted the top of her hand that was holding his. "That's good to hear, because I have no idea how to make you believe in this."

Serena blinked twice in confusion. "Make me believe what?"

"In our souls, of course."

She stared at Prince Julian for what seems like hours without saying anything. She didn't know whether she should believe him or not, but Serena knew she's going to end up believing him eventually....
