Gerthel tried calling him through mind-linking. “Boss Dar, can you hear me?” she said. She was looking at him, checking if she could feel what she was doing and hear what she said.

He was not even looking at her, she cannot get through with his mind. She is not sure if he is not really what she thought he is or if he just blocked her from getting into his mind.
