Gerthel woke up with a light feeling the next day. Although Boss Dar was not beside her anymore, she could still feel his presence because his scent still lingered on the bed, on the pillow he used, and on the blanket that they shared together. She smelled the blanket and then reached for the pillow he used, then hugged it tightly.

“Uhmm, you really smelled so heavenly, mate,” she murmured while smiling widely. She was still hugging the pillow when someone knocked on her door. She alighted from her bed and opened the door.
