Standing at the door of the ward, Dora turned her head to look at her, with a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
Pursing her lips, Zoe suddenly felt a little cruel.
No mother would be so cruel to leave her child far away and live a comfortable life. She didn't care what her child thought about her father and whether he would miss her.
