“They're called the skinwalkers,” Jack heard a voice reply to Franni's question. “They trudged out of the beings you killed. They were drawn to blood.”

Jack turned back, and the being behind him made his heart hop with joy. The same goes for Franni. It's Drax and the rest of the team that went in search of the half-breed.

The look of happiness in Jack's eyes diminished when he noticed the sad countenance on them. He also noticed that they were now fewer in number and the half-breed was not with them.
