I grabbed my bag and started walking down the stairs, my heels tapping lightly against the steps as my mind stayed fixed on the long day ahead of me. I was ready to head to the office and do exactly what I had set my mind to do. There was no room for distractions today, not from work, not from memories, and definitely not from James.
